ROUTINES AND RITUALS

Hi Lola babe, welcome back to ROUTINES AND RITUALS with loli. If this is your first time here, scroll down to the first blog we posted and then come back to this topic :)

Today let’s dive into the topic of prioritizing, shall we? I do recommend taking notes on your journal or calendar of main points you think will help you moving forward with setting goals and working or breaking it down into your personalized habits.

How to Prioritize Tasks to Accomplish Your Goals:

Setting goals is an essential part of personal and professional growth. But having goals alone isn’t enough — the key to success lies in how you prioritize the tasks needed to achieve them. Prioritization helps ensure you’re using your time and energy effectively, focusing on what truly matters. In this blog post, we’ll explore the importance of prioritization and offer actionable strategies to help you accomplish your goals.

1.Understand the Bigger Picture

Before diving into the day-to-day tasks, take a step back and understand why you’re setting the goals in the first place.

Ask yourself:

• What is the end goal I want to achieve?

• How will accomplishing this goal impact my life or career?

This broader perspective will help guide your prioritization process. If you’re clear on the bigger picture, you can make decisions about what tasks will bring you closer to that vision. Without clarity, you might end up working on things that don’t truly support your ultimate goals.

2. Break Down Your Goals into Manageable Tasks Large goals can be overwhelming, and often the hardest part is figuring out where to begin. The solution? Break your goals into smaller, actionable tasks. This process, known as task decomposition, makes complex goals feel more achievable and gives you a clear path forward.

For instance, if your goal is to write a book, the breakdown might look something like:

• Researching the topic

• Outlining chapters

• Writing a certain word count each day

When you break down a goal into smaller tasks, it becomes easier to decide which tasks should take priority. And of course, celebrate these small wins as you accomplish the steps to the big goal. It’s always about the journey, and how you show up everyday determines the end goal/ destination.

3. Use the Eisenhower Matrix The Eisenhower Matrix is a great tool for prioritizing tasks based on urgency and importance. It divides tasks into four categories:

 • Urgent and Important: Tasks that need immediate attention and directly contribute to your goal. These are your top priorities.

• Not Urgent but Important: Tasks that contribute to your goal but don’t require immediate attention. These should still be scheduled and given time in advance.

 • Urgent but Not Important: Tasks that may seem urgent, but they don’t align with your goals. These can often be delegated or postponed.

• Not Urgent and Not Important: Tasks that neither contribute to your goals nor are urgent. These should be eliminated or minimized. By categorizing tasks this way, you can focus on what truly matters while delegating or letting go of distractions.

4. Apply the 80/20 Rule (Pareto Principle)

The Pareto Principle, or the 80/20 Rule, states that 80% of your results come from 20% of your efforts. In terms of prioritization, this means identifying the tasks that will have the greatest impact on your goal and focusing most of your energy there.

For example, if you’re building an online business, maybe 20% of your actions — like creating a strong sales funnel or investing in social media marketing — will generate 80% of your revenue. Identify the vital few tasks that will drive the most results and prioritize them over the trivial many.

5. Time Blocking and Scheduling

Once you’ve identified which tasks to prioritize, it’s time to plan how to complete them. Time blocking is a productivity technique where you set aside specific time slots in your calendar for focused work on particular tasks. This reduces distractions and ensures you have dedicated time for what matters most. For example, you might schedule two hours in the morning for writing, and then block time in the afternoon for research or outreach. By sticking to these blocks, you’re more likely to stay on track and avoid wasting time on non-essential activities.

 6. Learn to Say No

When you’re working on big goals, saying no becomes a critical skill. Every opportunity that comes your way can seem important, but not all of them align with your priorities. By saying no to low-priority activities or distractions, you’re ensuring your focus stays on what truly matters. This could mean turning down a social invite when you need to write or rejecting a project that doesn’t align with your core objectives. Saying no isn’t about being rude — it’s about being respectful of your time and goals.

7. Review and Adjust Regularly

Prioritization isn’t a one-time task. As you work toward your goals, new tasks will emerge, and some might become more urgent than others. Regularly reviewing your priorities ensures that you remain on track. Set aside time weekly or monthly to reassess: • Are you making progress toward your goals?

• Do your priorities still align with your long-term objectives?

• Are there new tasks that need to be prioritized?

Regular reviews help you stay flexible and adaptable, which is key to maintaining momentum.

8. Stay Focused and Avoid Multitasking

I can tell you I struggle so much with this one. I love multi tasking but I am working on it as I go. Multitasking can seem like an efficient way to accomplish multiple tasks at once, but it often leads to errors and decreased productivity. Focus is essential when working on high-priority tasks. Stick to one task at a time, giving it your full attention, and you’ll complete it faster and more effectively.

I hope this helps babe. Start today by applying these strategies to your goals. You’ll not only be more productive but also more aligned with what truly matters to you.💕

Hi you💕 love to see you here with us!

we want to talk a little about rituals🙃

this will be an intro to the topic and we can alwayssss come back and add on together! so let’s get to it and tap into our creative side to these ideas we can build on.

We like the idea of the compound effect, ever heard of it? it helps us get into a strategy of reaping rewards from doing small, seemingly insignificant actions on a daily basis that add up. With consistency and discipline, we can create a legit road map of where we want to go. First, think about what your goal and big dreams are. There are no limits babe. Anything and everything is possible. From here we choose the little steps aka habits that helps us get there.
Answer this: What would the future you tell you to do today that will get you to where you want to go?Uhhhh, not sure? This is a great start, now we can work on doing some research on what habits we need to build to get us there.

With our rituals we have to be consistent and have a sense of urgency. No matter how we feel, we get it done. Having discipline and staying consistent build on overtime. It’s like a small seed, it grows with time, not over night. So be kind to yourself, “set backs” helps us reflect on what we need to refine.
everything we do everyday, brings us closer to our next reward. And that’s the mantra we engrave in our hearts🌱

a way we like to practice our rituals is to write it down. Agenda every move, I know that can sound a little “crazy” for lack of better words, but it helps guide you and prioritize your activities. Create boundaries that align with your purpose and ask yourself this: “does this add to or take away from who I want to be” ?.

Journal your thoughts to release the day and write your intentions to start the next. Notice how your feel when you write it out. The feeling of writing down our goals creates road map to get us there and it amplifies the more we follow through with our vision. Writing it down feels like a commitment that will keep you in track.

From there…we can do whatever we want (: I mean its writen down right? So we MUST get to it. 😋 Focus mode on baby!
